Herb Hess, the operator of Laughlin Helicopter Charters first soloed an airplane while in high school. He went on to become a Commerical rated airplane pilot and Flight Instructor all before entering the US Army as a CH-47 “Chinook” crew chief. This is where he developed an interest in helicopters. After leaving the Army, with 3 years served he added Helicopter to his pilot certificates. Herb has flown in excess of 17,000 hours in airplanes and helicopters all accident free. Herb is also a member of SAG/AFTRA and has piloted helicopters in front of and behind the camera for any of your professional filming needs Herb’s IMDB Profile.
